Spinal Stenosis is the narrowing of spinal canal which puts pressure on the lumbar spine and exiting nerves, usually caused by degenerative ligaments and disks. This condition can cause considerable pain and potential disability. Symptoms are usually pain while standing or walking that gets better with sitting, non-radiating lower back pain or buttocks pain, pain when leaning back that gets better with leaning forward. Treatment options include physical therapy and an operation called Laminectomy
